TX2K22 was a blast this year with lots of personal bests by our loyal GTR customers!

 

We brought a full fleet of Heavy Hitter GTR’s which I would love to highlight!

 

Jan Buhler - Jan came to TX2K22 to defend his title in the Unlimited Roll Race and the GTR3 (68mm) Drag classes. While some trans issues kept him from winning the GTR3 class he was able to pull off another win in the Unlimited Roll Race class  for the 3rd year in a row! Jan is sporting our Xenith R Turbos (64mm) and our Billet Crank 3.8 Liter Engine with our Motec ECU Package! This setup has been on Jans car for over a year and consistently performs!

Mike Bandy - Mike made his TX2K debut this year competing in the Super Sport Roll Race Class and Street Car Drag Class which uses a pro tree. Mike typically uses his Cicio Performance GTR for No-Prep racing so competing in a roll racing event was definitely a new thing for him. After some dialing in we were able to go round after round until achieving victory in the finals! We were also able to go a few rounds in the super competitive Street Car Class.  Mike is using our Xenith R Turbos with our Billet Crank 4.1 Stroker Engine and our Motec ECU Package.

Tony Earnest - Tony came to TX2K22 with a vengeance this year after dealing with a few issues at TX2K21. Tony entered the roll racing in the Unlimited Class and The GTR3 Drag Class. Tony made it to the quarter finals and was taken out by Jan Buhler (Slingshot engaged) and also went several rounds into the GTR3 Drag Class earning a new PB of 7.6 @ 187mph!!! Tony is also rocking our Xenith R Turbos as well as our 4.1 Billet Crank Stroker Engine with our Motec ECU Package.

Andy Costello - Andy also made his TX2K debut this year with his freshly built Cicio Performance GTR. Andy entered in the Super Sport Roll Racing Class and went several rounds before getting knocked out by Myles Kerr in his 200+mph Integra. Andy put down several fast passes with a best of 195mph!!!! Andy is also using our Xenith R Turbos with our 4.1 Billet Crank Stroker Engine with our Motec ECU package. We look forward to seeing what the car will do in the ½ mile here in a few weeks!

Mike Dorcik - Dr. Dorcik joined us for another TX2K with his Cicio Performance Built GTR and entered in the GTR2 Class this year. While we weren't able to get that elusive 7 second pass due to come clutch issues we were still able to get Mike to a PB of 8.0 @ 180mph!!!! Mike is using our Xenith Turbos (58mm) and our 3.8 Billet Crank Race engine with our Motec ECU package. It's worth mentioning that this engine has been in Mike's car for over 3 years now!!!

Chris Kallenteris - Chris also made his TX2K debut this year with two high horsepower GTR’s. He entered in the Unlimited Roll Race Class with his Cicio Performance Built GTR and was able to secure a new personal best of 208mph and went a several rounds before being taken out by Christine Dodworth in her crazy fast GTR. Chris’s car is rocking a  Pro2100 turbo kit with our 4.1 Billet Block Race Engine and our Motec ECU Package.

Brian Thaw - Brian Thaw joined us at TX2K again this year with his Cicio Performance C800 GTR and entered in the DCT Drag Class. While 800whp is certainly at the low end of the power spectrum for this class, Brian was still able to make it all the way to the semi-finals due to his amazing reaction times on the tree! Brian also hit a PB of 9.7 at @ 142 which is awesome for a stock engine car!

Kevin Stowe - Kevin also made his TX2K Debut this year with his Cicio Performance GTR entering in the Sport Roll Race Class and DCT Drag Class. Kevin was able to go a rounds in the roll race with several 184mph passes. He also managed several 8.3-8.4 passes @ 169mph! We recently upgraded this car to our Motec ECU package to squeeze as much safe HP out of the car as possible!

David Stephens - This was also Davids’s TX2K Debut with his Cicio Performance Built GTR! David entered in the Super Sport Class and went rounds as well with a best speed of 187 mph! David is sporting our Prime R Turbos with our 3.8 Billet Crank Engine on the Factory ECU with 6 injectors!

We are super happy with how our new  Xenith and Xenith R Turbos performed this year! We might be biased but in our opinion there isn't another turbo kit on the market in this price range that can produce these types of results time after time!

 

We are super proud of our customers and team for putting on a great showing at TX2K22 this year and look forward to next year's event!!!
