Available in 2021 for $140k ($148k with FSD)

- 0-60mph under 2 seconds
- 1/4 mile under 9 seconds
- 200mph top speed
- Lapped Leguna Seca in 1:30.3 (they think they can get down to 1:27 before it's released)
- 1100-1200hp
- Over 520 miles range

From a luxury sedan.....Bananas 🤪

Just imagine what the Roadster will do with the Cold Gas Thrusters equipped.

The roadster is about $200k to start but the version with the CGTs will be about $250k. Mark my words that car will be like nothing you have ever seen. $250k is a good chunk of change but its capabilities will embarrass any car ever made no matter the price. 0-60 is estimated in the 1.0 second range and 1/4 mile time maybe in the 7's with a top speed of 250+ all 100% stock. It will also be a monster in the corners.

I wondered the same, Lucid claimed 1/4 time of 9.9 seconds for its $170k Lucid Air but then Tesla fires back 2-3 weeks later with a sub 9 second 1/4 time and at $30k less msrp. I think these times they are quoting are with the tires they intend to sell the vehicle with meaning it's a street tire. Otherwise what's the point of making these claims.

I ordered one - too good to be true with a full warranty. Saw the widebody Nürburgring car and thought it looked great.

Girls stopped home from college and told me about it and said why not. Then we get the confirm and it’s a darn hedge hog lmao.

We have/had four as family pets and we all couldn’t stop laughing.

I'm intrigued.  Perhaps instead of a full build on the GTR, I add this to the stable...but then will I bother driving the GTR anymore?

Have a feeling the built GTR will still be quicker 60-150, but heck you never know.

Can’t be worse than having a Hellcat, NSX and GTR on with three kids under 20 hahahah

But you are right - will add this one to a separate policy.

I still can’t wrap my head around how sub 2 sec to 60 and 8 sec 1/4 mile is possible with the Michelin tires I saw in the photos.

And a full warranty - insane. I mean a Copo Camaro doesn’t even do that and it doesn’t even get a VIN for the street.

Will definitely lose steam up top like most electrics with a lot of weight. But then again, unless you're doing 1/2 mile events, impromptu races on the street rarely reach those speeds.

This is what .90-1.1 0-60mph looks like with a heavily built Hellcat haha ..not happening on the street. If the Tesla Roadster can accomplish that time from the factory it will be a hell of an accomplishment.

Holy crap!!  My neck hurts just watching this video.  You would need to take a physical in order to buy that car, otherwise you could pass out from the g forces.  That is soooo cool!!!

EDIT:  And, I think my golf clubs will fit!  Win Win!!  :)
