Ignite Racing Fuel produces some of the best performing race fuels on the market and we are very proud to use them in our builds to make strong, safe, and consistent power!

 

 

We have tested and used lots of fuel here through the years and literally over hundreds of builds.  When switching cars from E98 or race gas we always find that the knock counts and engine noise gets significantly quieter on Ignite.  

 

 

We aren’t really big on just promoting products because we make margin on it unless it works!  Especially something as sensitive and important as the fuel that goes in our clients 1000+ HP cars.  This stuff however really works, we have seen it with our own eyes.  

 

 

Unlike other companies that just blend chemicals without knowledge of the fuel, Ignite is involved from the very beginning. Ignite is proud to be farmer owned and operated. In fact, the pictures above were taken during their harvest season! They plant and harvest corn every year, which is then taken to the local ethanol plant (started by the owner of Ignite) to be converted to fuel grade ethanol. Then finally brought to their shop where they blend the fuel with high quality denaturants to create the fuel you know and love!

At Cicio Performance, we primarily use Ignite Red 114 (E90) 

 

Ignite Red 114 (E90): The Ignite Red 114 is an E90 blend designed for applications of 500+hp. This fuel is perfect for both forced induction and high compression applications. With superior burn speed and energy value, Ignite 114 will reduce engine temperatures while delivering more power and torque outperforming similarly rated gasoline based fuels.

 

 

 

$60 for 5 gallon pail / $600 for 55 gallon drum!

Although this is what we primarily use, we still have the ability to get other Ignite Fuels such as:

Ignite Orange (E85)

 

Ignite Yellow (E98)

What does a cleaner burn mean?  Is the implication the E98 has some impurities that make it less repeatable or?

pure ethanol is much harder to ignite than a fuel with a little bit of a lower ethanol content. That 8% difference is what matters in this case. The denaturants in the remaining 10% also allow that burn to be cooler and "cleaner" in a sense that the ignition is much better than a fuel that's pure ethanol.

When you guys tune basic FBO E85 flex fuel, do you use one of ignite fuels or pump E85, and why?

I think it's less about the gains and more about the consistency and reliability?

For FBO cars pump E85 is what we use, Typically we use ignite products for our higher hp builds due to its consistency and knock resistance at those power levels.

I agree for most driving around applications E85 is perfectly fine when the engine isn't being pushed hard.  But there is more of a difference than even I originally thought when running this stuff.  It really does help and quiets the engine down a good bit.  I was shocked. 

 

That and it's not even close to 10 times the cost.  More like 5 times.
