You’ll be hunting for E85 like me, unfortunately pump supplier locations are dwindling. Drive us still cheaper than buying barrels.

I had a Hellcat Charger, and it was basically a "F-YOU" car. I revved it, it said F YOU I punched it, it said F YOU, I roll - raced it, it definitely said F YOU.

The only time when it didn't say much was from a dig. Fun. Always tried to take me out. Never had the need to search for more HP......................I'm a whimp...............Sold it.

I believe they have E85 at 1000 Jefferson Rd in Henrietta. Many ethanol plants are shutting down because of coronavirus unfortunately.

Can confirm the Hunt for local E85 is real. Went to 5 different stations last night with no luck. Will have to take the drive out towards Webster.

Still better than paying $10 a gallon for a barrel of E85/E90  :)

Update on the Hellcat - Car is scheduled to be done June, 18th. The shop was pretty backed up. Managed to install a Fire extinguisher for safety in the meantime. Also upgraded from 1300cc to the new FIC 1650cc injectors.

Sent the car to off last week. Just waiting on the call everything is ready to tune. Scheduled to hit the Dyno July 1st!

Pretty nervous at the moment going with a new shop but we'll see how things play out. Didn't have a great time with my last build at STM.

Hoping for the best but prepared for the worst lol

Also got a new 4KHD dash camera system hooked up, going to be fun playing with that. Has an interior camera facing the passenger seat  :P

Passenger seat camera will be priceless. Is it always recording or is there a on/off button.

Yes the Vantrue dash camera has an option to turn the interior cam off if not wanted. Also has infrared night vision to help capture low light scenarios. Interested to see what footage looks like during a night out in mexico.

Update: Shop finally gave me a call. They just started on the car today.... OEM S/C is still on the car, crank isn't even pinned yet. No idea what they have been doing since the 18th, waited weeks for them to get the car in. Not going to make the scheduled dyno day of the 1st i was told would be no issue. E-Tuner is booked out for another 2 weeks so July 14th is the soonest the car will be hitting the dyno.

It’s nuts how busy shops are Dan. It’s like nobody has anything else to do with the pandemic but build their cars, landscape and Netflix.

Call a concrete guy and the good ones are booked out through October lol.

Wait until birth numbers are released in 9 months hahahah.

Good luck.

I don't disagree shops are busy. Not an excuse IMO for making a customer wait over a month for a queue in order for the car to sit 10+ days untouched. Had all the parts with the car ready to go. 1-3 day job 10-12 hour labor time.

My local body shop has better turn around time/communication so far lol - Texts with updates constantly. Also have done many side jobs on cars and never would leave a customer hanging like that. So far with 3 vehicles at 3 different local tuning shops not one positive experience. STM had my GTR sitting outside for a month under a sappy tree, paint got fucked up and needed a correction..also sent me out after tuning making wastegate pressure/boost leaks left and right. Is what is is, looking forward to having the car back. 3 strikes i'm out for local tuning shops though.  :fun:

Off topic, you ever feel like you lose power steering in reverse or in a parking lot ?

I complained a few times about mine and they just documented NFF. Got sick of it yesterday and took it in as it did it hopping on highway.

Made them order the parts to replace the power steering system and rack. Pretty common problem and there is a TSB and plenty of NHTSB complaints.

No power steering issues yet (2016 with 34k miles) VIN showed no recalls/tsb's. I'll keep an eye out

Found out i have an alignment issue of some sort that needs to be addressed. When swapping from the 20's to 18's up front the steering alignment is whacked. OEM dodge demon has no issues swapping from 20's to 18's straight steering wheel. Most other hellcat owners no issues, one guy said he had it happen but didn't say if he fixed or not. Hoping something simple without needing cradle shift, bent rim/defective tires. 20200504_083031.jpg
