I'm thinking of picking up a set of PF01s in the 18x9.5 +15 and 18x10.5 +15. As I don't daily my car anymore so I will probably be offloading my BBS CH-Rs with MPSSs.

I know most mount drag radials on these. Any thoughts on the right R888r sizing for this to make the GTR happy?

R888r sizes in 18:

275/35

295/30

305/35

315/30

335/30

I'd assume the 275/35 and the 315/30 based on 25.6" and 25.5"
diameter front and back but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or if they've seen R888r on the PF01s.

Will this be for road course, roll racing, drags - or all of the above?

For road course we’ve found that a square setup works best. I’d be looking at 18x10.5 wheels at all 4 corners with the 305 or 315 Toyos all around.

Street and road course (once I get back into it).

I saw a few with 10.5 square but not having wider fenders up front I think the front poke would bother me slightly on the everyday.

No poke if you get the correct offset. I actually run an 18x11 front wheel with 315 slicks and it tucks under the fender at full compression. However, you will need adjustable upper control arms to get enough camber for that. You’ll want them anyway to get the most grip out of the front tires...

Gotcha.

Yeah I'm not sure. The set has slicks on it currently but I know zero about slicks and trying to compare them to street legal sizes.

First number is width, second number is diameter in mm.

305/680 is 305mm wide and 680mm in diameter. It’s easier not to use a ratio for the second number...

The exception to this is Michelin who divide by 10 :/
31/71 is like a 310/710...

Makes sense. I never wanted to assume it was something as easy as that.

Also the guy sold his PF01s so back to waiting on the wheels lol

Have you looked at Forgestar? They’re cheap and make custom sizes. Hit up James at Vivid Racing if you want more info. We’ve got two sets, and they’ve held up very well. My wife bent one after going off track and hitting a curb from the back side. It threw the whole car up in the air, so a bent rim was to be expected haha.

Yeah I don't like them :/

There is a set of TE37s that are semi local in the standard 20x10/20x12 layout.

Eventually if I do go completely custom I'll go Finspeed. But I like trying to buy used first when I am looking.

Sounds good, what would be the correct offsets?

18x11 +23 is what we run at all 4 corners. On a 10.5” wheel I guess it would be about +27 or so??
