Parts are starting to roll in and wrenches are starting to turn. I'm updating my setup to the billet crank 3.8L race version w/ Elite Prime non-class turbos.

Awesome! Can’t wait to see the power you make with this setup. Are you upgrading the trans? Which intake manifold with this race setup? Going Motec on this or sticking with COBB?

I'm going to leave the trans as is for now and see how far I can go with Ecutek TCU increasing the pressure.

I'm sticking with the oem ported intake manifold and will potentially run 6 of the new ID2600x injectors - depends on how they behave once released in a few weeks. ECU will still be Cobb.

The only other changes are a T1 balancer, AMS billet flywheel (with crank saver/diamond claw), and a moroso coolant tank

Taylor @ TSM had the ID2000s dialed in so well I could drive on 93 oct with no issues - I'm betting he can make the ID2600x on e85-e98 work well enough to not need to make the jump to Motec and 12 injector manifold.

The packaging on these turbos is crazy. OEM like fitment and still makes massive power... nuts

Stock turbo vs Prime

It looks so easy when the motor is out of the car just sitting there,

I think it will be a far stretch.

Made good progress dressing the motor today. Of course all the TSM parts fit perfectly

Love to see the empty baggies stacking up

A few things need to be done in a specific order, and the amount of stuff that goes on these cars starts to add up towards the end - but it really isn't bad. Having a good set of tools and equipment makes the rest fairly easy too

Been a busy week at work and preparing for my son's 1st birthday - so not much done as far as turning wrenches.

I realized I gave my oem banjo bolts away with my old turbos, so I had to order new ones. My local dealership made a mistake and got me 4 oil distribution block bolts instead of 2 oil bolts and 2 coolant side block bolts, so I need to get those before installing the inlets and raising the motor up - that's about all that's left though.

I also decided to go 12 injector with the Visconti oem manifold setup. My manifold should be back in ~1.5 weeks. I'll be running FIC 1200cc primary and FIC 1650cc for the secondaries (had the 1650s leftover from my old hks setup)

Apparently there's a nationwide outage of the Nissan part warehouse servers - no dealership or online reseller can source any parts they don't have in stock on a shelf.  Sounds like the system will remain down today as well... hopefully I can get these banjo bolts this week - crazy

Motec is night and day compared to Ecutek/Cobb, I would consider for next upgrade. Cicio and Taylor can definitely help you out tuning remotely as well.
