I got some decent footage on my Go-Pro this past weekend by using the elastic head mount.  This head mount is damn close to getting the footage I'm looking for but the view point is still too high.

I looked online and found a very cool head rest mount but this mount needs a headrest that has the metal headrest poles.  Our GTRs re not "standard" seats as far as the headrest goes.

What do you guys suggest?

I used to do the helmet mount before I had a cage in the car. They turned out really well. All you need is one of the sticky mounts attached to your helmet and a few of the short arms to make a 90 degree mount for the GoPro.

I know you were asking about a mount but I recently switched to this...allows you to capture whatever angle you want.

you can make it a normal video and change the POV or just upload it as a 360 video and use the mouse to move it around.

That's pretty awesome with a competitive price to Go Pro.
What did you mount it to in the video?

To better rephrase my question. What part of the car did you mount the camera to?

-Front passenger side window is a pretty cool view. (Shot in a twin-turbo 350z)

-The domelight may workout with a suction mount - don't have a GTR anymore so unsure of the angle it would be. (Shot in a 400whp GTI.)

oh...that was just to the windshield.  The algorithm erases the mount

Wow given the price the Rylo is tempting. Seems to be some special deal now, $299 is dirt cheap.
