Are you not concerned this will hamper your speed on the straights? Reminds me of the C7Z06 z07-kit, but on steriods hehe.

Are you not concerned this will hamper your speed on the straights? Reminds me of the C7Z06 z07-kit, but on steriods hehe.


Racetracks are mostly corners, so yes I’ll happily give up 5mph on the straights in order to gain 5mph in the corners. The main thing is that I’ve built this so it’s all very easy to remove, so I can take pieces off or add them back on and tune the aero to suit each track we visit.

Hey Elf, does the aero knock you to a different class?  What class are you running in?

Nope! It’s mostly the power to weight ratio that determines our classes. We’re in Super Touring 2, which is a weight to power ratio of 8:1 or higher. For aero, the rules allow for pretty much any kind of bodywork but the sizing is restricted based on distance from the factory bodywork. Rear wing can only be 8” higher than the roofline, front splitter can only be 12” beyond the front bumper, etc etc.
