Hi guys, I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a set of the new Tru 58 Boost Logic turbo kit last winter, first event was the WC in Feb, ran a 7.738 first pass off the trailer full interior 15" rears, qualified first and took the Modified first place!! Then TX2K came along, took 230lbs off the car, got some 17". Was able to do 7.796 on the first pass, followed by a 7.655,7.676...at 184 mph, second qualifier in the gtr2 class. got eliminated in first round, my 3yr old stg4 (undersize) clutch decided to let go. I knew it was coming but..... lol

And now got my updated Shep stg4  tranny back last week, installed by Command Performance, Rob Harper 1/2 mile map at 4 am from Dubai, and off we go to an 1/2 mile event in La Tuque QC Canada . First pass 329 kmh, traction control hit 5 times on the first 1/4. Guys told me other lane is much better. Next pass  353.1 km/h... that's 219 mph!!!!  Couldn't believe it, traction control only hit once. OB's 4000 hp(claimed) Lambo (Don't blink) had a best of 354 km/h. Yes, I got a second place overall and a first in the Japanese class. Rob Harper was reviewing my logs between his flights to USA, did a few change, could't ask better from the greatest tuner out there!!

Details on the build, 3.8  Command Performance build engine, Shep stg 4, Boost Logic tru 58 Turbo kit (58mm open manifold), factory 20" premium wheels, R888, 1537 whp \ 1174 ftlb.

Special Thanks to Command Performance for the great support and build, Rob Harper for giving me the best tuning a man can get; Boost Logic for raising the bar with this new tru 58 mm turbo kit and finally, John Shepherd for answering all my questions and building this killer trans!

Congrats on a great achievement. What did you take off from the car to make it 230lbs lighter? Why did you change from 15" rear to 17" instead?

I'm missing something here....

"253.1 km/h... that's 219 mph!!!!"

That's Kilometers per hour right?

1 kph = .62mph     So your math appears a bit off.

Never mind figured it out....  you went 353.1kph,  and OB did 354kph,  so he beat you by .9.     353.1 = 219mph.

Took out interior, rear valance delete. This year TX2K GTR2 class rule stated 17" rear minimum.  So had to buy new 17" belaks which are for sale now,,lol
