Some of ya know,I bought a new house and it has a nice big driveway. But that didn’t stop me from backing into a tree...lol. It was my first time backing the car in and it was a moonless raining night.

I went to my body shop to see what it was gonna cost me and my body guy....I’ve known him since I was 15......tellls Me Timmy you need go seriously look at your carbon it’s about to come apart.. He goes let me show ya .
He hits the tru k with just air nothing else and it did this

So I had him obviously fix it which come t find out there was a crack in trunk more than likly from all the high speed pulls,plus the hood had a cracks it and some pin holes....pretty sure that is from the belt coming off while racing all the motorcycle’s that night. :):) The Carbon turned out great

Woh!  That's scary!

 

Did he indicate it was UV damage?  Do you keep your car indoors?

 

Reconditioning looks money, along with the house.

Car is always stored indoor, and they didn’t mention any UV damage. But my heart about fell out of my chest when I saw that happen

House looks great. Did this one come with a gator ?

Was the carbon gloss sealed or matte ? Not sure makes a difference but I know the gloss supposedly has better UV protection.

I worked at a shop where I didnt NEED a mask, but had to take the fitment test every year LOL. I failed every year for 8 years. The guy would ask me every time if I would shave. LOL.
