1976 FJ-40 Rock Buggy - tube chassis, LQ4, 700R4, NP205, Rockwells, F&R hydraulic steering, Fox, Ballistic, lots of 4130, 7068, and AR400

2001 Ford Excursion - V10, DD and occasional tow rig

In my opinion, the GT looks tangibly better. The roofline, rear end, glass hatch. The rear luggage compartment is actually pretty damn useful as well. Lastly, it has a glass panoramic roof for a very open air big cabin feeling.

The GT also normally comes with a 2% slower steering rack, and suspension that’s 10% softer up front, and 15% softer in the rear. On my specific GT car it was options with the sport pack which retains the 570s suspension and steering, as well as sport exhaust (which I wanted). My build also has the super light weight wheels which are not as common on GT.

What are these running on the street from a dig ? I know they have a strong launch control logic but wondering if it’s as strong or moving towards the rest of the rwd pack at that stage.

I know roll on they rip with 888s

not sure, but the launch logic isn't that great actually, if there is slip the ECU seems to just let it spin.

So depending on what tires and the conditions, you could get a Mclaren from a dig if they lose grip.

I roll around on 18s and 3582s so not that worried

Just seems like it’s producing some insane times and wondering what times they actually run on the street. Ever draggy yours ?

I’ve seen Brooks’ run 10’s on dragtimes with R888 but he is bone stock I believe, just the lightweight rims and exhaust.

Mine is stock too with R888R, stock light rims (could be lighter they aren’t that great) and stock exhuast.

dsm_alpha has a dragy, maybe we can test it out on a weekend
