All,

I have been in this forum for a few years now...thanks to Shawn Hayes...and really appreciate the knowledge and Quality of discussions.

My problem: I placed an order for the Umbrella VRH system with Ravi. It has been 4 months and while he responds over text and picks up the call rarely, he has not delivered the system. My biggest mistake was to pay him in advance and I feel short changed.

Anyone here or any shop owners close to him that can help me out a little?

Btw, I am writing this from Singapore, off time zone by 12 to 16 hours. If any one of you could help leveraging your relationship with Ravi, I will be able to give you more background....really appreciate reading this.

Ravi has been notoriously slow, and difficult to get a hold of - has been this way for years, but, he does "normally" deliver.

 

Did you pay him via wire or via CC?  At this point, if via CC, a simple charge back seems like your best option.

Paid through wire...that’s why any recourse is difficult. He repeatedly says he won’t let me down and said he will revert with a date next week...let’s see.
I was wondering if there was anyone here that knows and is local to him...to seek help via A friendly reminder. I am sure some shops deal with him, but they may be hesitant due to their strategic relationship.
