I've been looking for stock IHI turbos for a conversion and so far all 4 sets I found for sale had the same crack at the wastegate hole (passenger side turbo)
this had me thinking since a LOT of GTR's must be driving around with these cracks without noticing - do these cracks even constitute a problem? those are only hairline cracks after all.
also this issue seems to be known dating back to 2010ish and the cracks themselfes do not seem to get bigger over time!?
