There are quite a number of Gen2 turbo for GT-R out there nowadays and 1000whp seems to be fairly common I think.

What is the best setup for 1400whp stock crank that could have the ability to spool the same or better then stock?

is there such a thing?

My guess would be Maybe ETS Pro1400 or TSM’s Elites gen2.

TSM Elite Prime (4125lbs w/Audiophile sound / AC, etc.)

There is no such a thing but in the 700-900 whp with e85 you could get that with some small turbos.

stock-like spool and 1400whp?  Sorry doesn't exist.  Maybe someday when they start incorporating electric motors onto the CHRA shaft. That would be awesome!

You want spool and transient response? Stay with stock manifold. Your options are BL1200X or as Celsius and Tim mentioned TSM elite gen 2.

Luis mentioned estimate 1350-1375 whp for the following BL run. Stock manifold. Stock crank.

TSM just posted on Facebook. I don’t know the specs... but 8.0 at 172 is smokin!

Yeah I'm kind of expecting this two turbo will be the first to popup since they are known to be very quick spooling.

BL produces low 8s on stock crank is just very impressive. Not sure if Elite+ Gen2 is running stock crank or not regardless it is pretty damm impressive no doubt.

Wonder if how much improve/hurting it will be for 4.1 stroker on these two

On stock manifold turbos it's pretty hard to make 1400hp reliably without kinda crossing your fingers on the stock crank.  The reason is you have to make a good amount of torque to make that power given the small housings.

BUT, what people don't realize is that a 1300hp stock  manifold car well tuned will SMOKE a kit car at 1400hp because it's got power everywhere and the kit will make more power only toward the top end to keep the torque out of it.

That is unless the tuner of the kit car is throwing the kitchen sink at it and just praying the crank holds.

That said... people say this a lot... but why would you ever want stock spool making 1000tq?  You would have to turn the thing so far down to keep the tires under it that it wouldn't be usable anyway.    If anyone has ever driven an ELITE Plus car and thinks it needs to spool faster they are in my opinion crazy.  We have to pull the hit out of them already just to keep them going straight on the street..... on the track who cares about spool.   Stock spool on say an ELITE Plus would mean 1000tq at like 3k... lol that is absolutely unusable and worthless.

EDIT: Boost RESPONSE is a different story, but the stock manifold cars respond SO fast that I'm not even sure a stock turbo would be much faster... which wouldn't matter because within a half a second the ELITE Plus would be GONE!!!  So who cares.

Totally agree with Cicio! I’m selling my 20” Volk’s because they are absolutely useless (unless I was trying to drift). As it is right now, my 18” Mickey Thompson ET Streets BARELY hold.....and like TurboTuner20v, I’m having to run WG settings 1st-3rd on the street to keep traction in check....I can see how a Motec setup could be beneficial there also. I love my Elite+

Oh geez. That's why you have no traction. Lol

Not sure if possible on stock manifold with internal wastegates but I run a 4 port boost solenoid. I'm able to go as little as 13psi or so and up to my max target of 30psi. Nice to have the range of adjustment.

Very possible - turbosmart offers dual-port IWG actuators in r35 fitment with 7psi springs.

This isn't true at all, these cars will dead hook second gear on 28psi with zero issue.    Granted we upped his springs because he has a billet crank and we want the car to make all the power possible.  We can run as low as 20psi or so on an ELITE Plus setup if we wanted.

Jim's issue is more  his FWD clutch than his tires.    13psi just make things slow :) lol

Makes sense actually because I can dead hook in 2nd on Toyos but torque curve is different I'm sure between setups.

13psi is nice to have for the spirited canyon/mountain runs so I don't go flying off the ledge. Lol or when you refuse to run drag radials like me. Haha

Agreed!  That should put you right in that 1400 range the OP was asking about.
