Now that the weather is getting cooler I switched back to my Toyo R888R for better grip.

I notice each time I pull into garage a faint "burning rubber" smell. I remember earlier this year when I had them on I notoced it as well.

I've checked for rubbing and I don't see any issues other than my somewhat aggressive driving. Lol

Anyone else notice this?

Have not noticed that. Only thing that really stuck out to me is they sound like you are stirring mac n' cheese when you drive down the highway haha

I did notice this as well. Assuming it’s because they do throw rubber as your driving because of the durometer.

Hopefully not. Logs show very small difference between front and rear with the 285/325 setup. Regardless it smells like rubber and definitely not a clutch smell. Turns out after a few drives on the tires the smell is pretty much gone. Must've been new tire smell?

I know you blew $10k in the wrong tire choice or whatever else may have caused that catastrophe. Lots of variables. I'll take the risk on the few hundred miles a year I put in the 285/325 Toyo R888R setup. Not getting into that argument again. Lol
