Took the engine apart to fix a burnt exhaust valve on cylinder #4. Cylinder #1 has the damage shown. Cylinder #4 is visually fine. Looks like something was lodged between the cylinder wall and crown for some time. I leaked down the engine before disassemble and cylinder 1 had the best numbers by a few % which baffels me. Repeated the leakdown twice to verify numbers.

What are my options moving forward? First time dealing with a plasma sprayed block. If it was a typical iron based liner I'd hone it out and get a custom bore piston to replace it but unfortunately that doesn't seem like an option on these blocks.

Need to see if the block is even salvageable before taking it to the machine shop to measure the bores.IMAG1886.jpg IMAG1882.jpg IMAG1890.jpg
