I always like to have the AP active whenever I'm driving. Especially when I had issues with my previous tune throwing codes and limp safety. I do the 6 view layout:


  • Boost

  • RPM

  • Limp status

  • Dynamic Adv.

  • STFT B1,B2


What's yours and what do you like to monitor the most?

This is a good thread even for those of us with Ecutek.

AFR and RPM is all I've tried so far.

I have yet to find a use for any of the gauges during a WOT pull as this new power level consumes all my concentration. Lol

I'm on Ecutek and have it displayed on an Amazon Fire Tablet

 

MFD: Boost, Trans Oil Temp, Trans Oil Pressure

 

Tablet display: RPM, MPH, Knock Correction, 4WD Torque Split, Trans Fluid Temp, Engine Oil Temp, FlexFuel Ethanol %, Coolant Temp, Intake Air

 

I have trans fluid on the tablet as I have audible/visual warnings set for it if it goes over a certain value so the screen will flash red and it'll scream at me. As I've almost boiled the fluid before and the small MFD I didn't notice until I was on the straight away.

I think knock and STFM

Going to Motec there are no gauges but hopefully my dash will get her quickly!

when you guys say knock gauge, this is for the CBA? because cobb shows the Dynamic Advance gauge for knock... which i've been facing problems with lately since I retuned. 

 

at WOT, I was getting -1 , -2 Dynamic ADV ... but no limp safety warning. Did another tune adjustment and have been getting -3, -4 at WOT. 

 

The other time while it was pulling on -3, I stopped at a light and it was still pulling on -3 before going to 0.. I'm waiting to hear back from my tuner.
