10x did alright until you hit 4th.

How many miles so far ?


When he said he'd gone 163mph I was skeptical, but that car was very quick.

I didn't realize 10x was 1275whp capable, I just pictured it in the ~1,000whp range from the kit #. Like 16x = 1,600whp

I think he got it second hand for a great price considering the work that went in it, so that probably eased the pain.

Even after a loss it would be hard to be too bummed about owning a piece like that. Just have to settle for being slower than a home built elite+ 😁

I was just kidding. It is a beautiful car. Original owner didn't own it for very long. But your car flies for a lot less cash!

Remember that 10x will put bus lengths on 95% of the cars out there. Always someone faster.

Think a couple 10x’s have run 8.7’s in drag shape.

Basically a 3076 variant - so 1200 dynojet and 3.8-4.0 60-130 on kill.

The elites should outspool them at any rpm though especially with antilag.

Were you spinning on the jump ? Sounds like someone was ? Check your G’s on dragy - vbox is a bit better for that if you have one.

When are you going to get a half mile number on this thing ?

I don't think either of us spun mutch, maybe just the difference of us accelerating at slightly different times. I usually log every pull and analyze later. I only looked at roll and 1/4 event data this time tho

I'm trying to attend the Dallas half mile in November

Yea, she caught her stride after the 330 and was rolling out the back half.  It was a 3.56 60-130 time that pass.

 

I now have a 9.3 @ 158mph HKS GT1000 time slip and a 9.3 @ 167mph Elite+ time slip lol

First test of the 'gap cam' inside the car (hopefully less conspicuous haha)

Was he on 18’s or 20’s?

 

He was on 20's 

 

He didn't use antilag and I did on the first race, then we both used antilag on the 2nd race.  

 

With what I've read above on motec calculations for traction control, it was probably me spinning that first time.  2nd time I don't think there was any spin from either of us

Exactly 1 year apart between track visits... that's kind of weird.

 

Oct. 13th 2017 vs. Oct. 13th 2018

 

HKS GT1000 vs. TSM Elite+

 

HKS had a bad launch tune and bogged badly with no boost built

 

TSM left on 9psi at 4,100 on cold drag radials and spun... whoops, driver/owner error :)

 

HKS mid-60'sF, Elite+ mid-50sF
