Max Power on ID1700x

As stated in the title , what max hp are a single set of  1700s capable of on stock lines and Fore Tripple pumps hardwired or course and e85. Thanks in advance for your response..

probably a tiny bit over 1300whp.

Wow, thats quite a bit of power. Maybe I have a failing component in my system. Im using an aeromotive FPR. Can this be a restriction in my fuel system?

what kind of dyno are you on?

 

I made 1295whp on a Dynojet using ID1700s.

 

Regardless i know you will need to turn the pressure up a bit to hit those numbers but i am sure you know that.

Do you have all 3 of them, hardwired. I didnt hardwire my primary pump

I've seen quite a bit of TSM elite plus cars tuned on 1700s making upwards of 1250whp .

I doubt you can hit the 1300 whp on stock lines with E85

 

 

You can make WAY over 1300hp on stock lines. 

 

I've seen quite a bit of TSM elite plus cars tuned on 1700s making upwards of 1250whp .

 

 

Depending on the fuel pump setup and FPR you can make 1350-1400 maxed out on a single set of 1700s. 

 

But a good number to go off of is 1300whp.

 

Injectors are only one part of the equation tho.. pumps and differential pressure play a huge role.

I always thoughts it all depends on the injectors size no matter what pump and FPR you are using

What about max power on ( 6 injectors ) ID2000?

Everything comes into play.. but pumps and injectors are the biggest.  and ID1700 setup on a twin pump won't make much more than 1100... on a triple it has no issue supporting 1300. 

 

We have made 1450 on 2000s but the rest of the fuel system was setup for it.

Yes I plan to swap out my FPR . Actually spoke to a guy from fore who explained the short comings of my current fpr.

There is a ton of information that has to be factored in here. Boost and fuel pressure are huge factors that have to be taken into account. We have an extremely accurate fuel flow calculator here that will shed some light on these things:

With that being said the stock lines are not a restriction for 1,300whp. We have made over 1,500whp on E98 and stock lines.

If you don’t hardwire, you could burn the car to the ground when the wires start to melt.

That’s another big plus ;)

I've heard of multiple cases with installing bigger pumps on stock wiring and the extra current draw burns through the stock wiring.
