Was the car originally built in Cali? By who lol

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it was by another shop in Atlanta

Yes it was originally built by Forged performance, and after a couple engines without results Javid decided a change was in order.

Without trying to be all secretive nor am I trying to speak down about anyone, but facts are facts... those are the facts :)

Want to see one with a 4.3L or 4.4L !!

4.4 wouldn't make too much a difference.  Might pick up 100-200rpm in spool and a half second of transient boost.  The stroke is what does most for the drivability.

It’s interesting to see this kit with a stroker verse mine with a 3.8. Yours comes on a bit sooner but falls where mine continues up top. Would love to drive it with a 4.1 to feel the difference.

Oh yeah? How much more power than 1700 does yours make?

would be hard to draw a solid conclusion without both builds using the same heads/cams

The cams make less difference than you would think honestly.

The dyno however would make a huge difference.  The only reason power is falling off on the graph is because boost is on the dyno.. where on the street it holds it like a frozen rope.

Great that’s what I’m looking for! Any idea if I would see a bump to about 500HP and torque @ 4K rpm??

Well you are never gonna get it to 500hp and TQ at 4000 because that’s not where they cross.

But if you wanted to keep the top end power I would say a 4.4 is your only option

A 4.4 Pro1700 makes exactly 450whp at 4k RPM. So about 30-40whp more than the 4.1

If you wanted more than that you would need to go to a smaller hotside.

Nothing that would compare as the only time I do a smaller hot side is with a smaller engine.

Can you post the 4.4 Pro1700 graph overlaid with Javid’s?

Hhhh, it sounds you are ready to pull the trigger on a big boy TSM build!

My ETS Pro1700 with TSM 4.4 is due to for Motec and Dyno soon at TSM too!

I'm with you with more power down low. Makes for a better street car performer and more fun in the lower RPM range.
