Looks like they tried to jam a ZL1 bumper on it!

Lol. I bet it'll be quick though. They were trying to get the crown back from the ACR supposedly?

ya but if they cant it back from their sister car the Camaro then that would be a bit of a disappointment for their halo car.

I just speculate that if it did a better lap at the Ring than the Camaro they would have made a press release about it no?

Maybe. Could be a strategy to release, ride that hype, then wait til it starts to decline then get another bump from a release like that? I dunno, I'm not in marketing. :-)

Not certain if it's the effect of a wide angle lens or something, but man that thing is fugly from the front. They should have let a stylist or industrial design team have a go at integrating the coolers into the bodywork.

But no doubt it's gonna be quick! Fast and ugly, and new definition of fugly;-)

very interesting car to say the least.

when i first saw the prototype in camo (via pictures) i thought that it clearly was taking design inspiration from another brand with those big intakes on the sides of the front. and it still sorta looks sorta across from a lambo to a porsche, but not really.

Waiting to hear more about it. I came from Corvettes and have been excited to hear about this car. I haven't seen the video yet to get a good look at it but will check it out when I can. If it cannot beat both the Camaro ZL1 and the mid-engine Corvette (Z06) it will be a bit sad. NISMO is about 50k more but I still like for rear seat and very usable trunk and all weather capabilities.

Waiting to hear if it heatsoaks, but I'd think they wouldn't let that happen again, especially since there is a lawsuit for ZO6 owners I believe.

My thoughts are with ya there, Tim! Supposed to finally be DOHC and possibly Twin Turbo’d. Will be years always from a Z06/ZR1 though....gotta milk the advancements!
