What is the current record for full weight (full exhaust out the rear, A/C, radio, full interior, two seats), 17" or bigger tires. I mean literally show up to the track in your street car, swap on the slicks and run.

And I don't mean to be controversial, I get when you're chasing ETs or records most are tempted to take out a seat or exhaust or more, but personally it's not for me, so i'm curious about anyone who is running with a similar mentality.

i went 7.90@178 on that kind of setup on a 17.  Not sure if anyone has gone faster on a 17" tire

That was your A16 on a 4.4?

Saw your car at 2K BTW. Looked incredible.

Here's a video of my best pass which was a new PB.  I forgot to change to "map 4" after the flash so it was in the default "map 1" which is launching from vacuum.  The car bogs pretty hard now that I watch back the video.  I short shifted 1st because I didn't want to rely on the autoshift on the 1-2 since it didn't execute properly the pass before that, but unfortunately, I pulled the paddle around 6200 RPM.  I needed one more pass for my first 8 second pass but there was just too much going on with qualifying for Peter to squeeze me in before I had to leave the track to fly home.

What engine management is on your car now?  Are the shifts in auto mode?

Ecutek. No, I think it has to be in manual, and it is setup to autoshift at 8400 most gears. I think we lowered 1st and 2nd to 8200 the pass before but 1st didn't execute and hit the limiter at 9k.

I also have the AWD controller in the highest FWD transfer setting which Jack had mentioned could be affecting my trap.

I saw the shifts were high from 5th-6th that's why I asked.  My car shifts from 5th to 6th at 7200 rpm, which obviously sucks but still allowed me to run the 8.33.  This year should be a little different.  My car was in 5th for .9 seconds and went to 5th..

Had an issue with the dry sump setup on day 1.  TSM fixed it in 21 hours (it should have ended my weekend there).  Then I crushed the clutches my 11x11 stage 5 setup (not surprised by this I knew it wasnt enough).  TSM swapped in their shop back up 12x12 trans in the parking lot of tx2k in 1 hour and 40 minutes.  Made a perfect low boost shakedown pass but saw something in the log I wasnt comfortable with and we shut it down for the weekend.

Sorry to hear Brian...ya 11x11 is not enough for ultra builds like yours - my A16 had 12x12 (I believe there are 13 plate now)...smart to shut down before you really break something. You've been in the game as long as I - you will be back...looking forward to seeing it go.

I'm not sure what the record is, I'm at 7.6@187. I have no AC, dump exhaust and 15" wheels though. No frame notch though. We are going to test with bumper exist exhaust pretty soon.
17" tires would be a bit of an ask at this power level.

I think no frame banging or notching would be super super impressive for a kit that is this capable.

- 4.4 liter Alpha 12 built by TSM (R.I.P)
- 4.1 liter ETS 6466 built myself with the help of everyone.

- 4.2 liter billet block <? big boy kit> coming.
