This is probably a newb question, but do you ever have failures using hose clamps over a t-bolt? Or is this common practice for turbo kits and a nonissue?

Give this a read, some good info

On stainless we will use t-bolts

Otherwise we hate them with a passion!

This is very much a to each their own.. ETS swears by then, I swear at them hahahaha

LOL, well said.  I've seen many an aluminum tube with a D shape because the guy got that t-clamp reeeeeeeaaaaal tight, yo!

I really like this style of clamp over traditional worm....

If you zoom in on the pic, you can see there are two internal ribs that bite into the silicone, plus they provide the constant tension a worm drive would

I like these as well.

We actually used those years and years ago as well the issue is they loose tension over time. So if they are for your personal car and you can tighten them every month or so they work great. For cars that are set it and forget it they will loosen up.

They don't have stainless piping on the race car but they still love their t-bolts.

Like I said it's personal preference I think.

The hard part of the front end hasn't started in that pic, FYI. :)

I know TSM will do a fantastic job. Can't wait to see what she does.

I tried without success to find the graphics that Hustler magazine used to use to rate pornos. It was a 5 point scale ranging from limp to fully erect. This build is definitely raising the flag to full staff lol

Baz,

Good point. I'm just assuming a prototype ets setup would be front mount, but you're totally right, could well not be. Can't wait to see more pics!
