Nice! I saw the pics on Facetube but didn't know that it went pop first. Congrats and I'm sure it will be badass when it's done!

Going with a 4.1 Sonny Bryant crank motor had a conversation about a 3.8 but Tony thought a 4.1 would be better for a street based car as I do a lot!!!!!!!!!!!! Of Hwy pulls

Nice I've decided to go with a 4.1 setup as well, so I'll be monitoring this thread closely!

Head damage was caused by the bent valves and guide going thru engine let me try find the pic of the head but I delete all my texts after 1 month so I'm not sure it's there

Thanks for the info.  Interestingly enough, my heads had loose(worn) guides after 56k at FBO.  Nothing beyond spec but definitely worth repairing and cose to comfortable limits. My engine is out and in pieces with more power to come so it was best the valve guides get replaced.

I'm happy that you don't have to go through, what I'm going through as it caused quite a bit of damage which mean. Lots more $$$ out of my pocket. And I don't wish that on anyone.

Since this is kind of the official GT-R Heritage car, that means all the admins get to share it, right?? I'd be happy to arrange shipping to Omaha during the summer. Too hot to drive a car in FL then anyway ;)

Very excited for you man, you're going to get a hell of a ride and we all know you will enjoy/use it to the max!

Had my old A-14 redone by FP 62mm HTA3586..should be good for 1500whp..mainly because the valve guide went thru it also

Have you thought about letting them do the HTZ upgrade to them?
