Jimmy hooked me up with a dealer.  The first dealer canceled my order.  That deal was too good to be true: $2300.  This new deal is about $2800 shipped.

That's actually not as bad as I would have thought.

Good luck!

I like that I can stay with the stock block. Not looking for any additional drama with bigger bore or stroke. Not for road racing.

Sorry to hear this... Did they ever find the slag that caused damage to the turbos earlier?

Cyl 4. All of the cylinders had bits of metal floating around. My guess is that it's been there for a couple of summers.e28a667e3d14e98d6e99f94d350e3fbf.jpg

Wow all of the cylinders had metal shavings? How did the oil look on regular changes?

More loose carbon than metal, but there is metal in the compression chamber. The loose carbon is because it's tuned extra conservative, given how long I beat on it each session.

Oil is changed before every event. When we drained it to pull the engine, it was extra dirty.

Since my car will be down for a couple of months, this is the time to do something i've been itching to do.  We are fabricating a quick release of the front splitter, leaving the stock splitter in place.  Replacing the trunk deck with the Kognition wing with a stock 2015 BE wing using a quick as a release as we can design.  That way, I can enjoy the car around town in stock-appearing trim, attracting less attention.
