Nice find Ian!
I have a feeling that Motec will be released like the day after my car is done.

The first batch is small so if you didn't have your order in months ago you will probably be waiting for a few more weeks as we sort out the production process to do a larger batch.
At least there will be a lot more info available shortly so you can see for yourselves if the wait is worth while.

Can't wait to see what the pro tuners say about this system. I would love to hear in layman terms what the benefits of this system versus others.

Wow that looks awesome! I wish I understood what all that means!!
A Syvecs vs Motec thread will be inevitable somewhere, sometime. You might as well go through it now. I'm sure you guys know very well the comparisons to your competition.
Also if you can talk a bit about your future planned support for the platform and people who tune with this, that would be great.
Thanks!

so those who want to use motec will have to do the research and see if it has everything they require for there build. i think a majority of builds will be fine tho and im sure as time goes on motec will add extra features as there is demand for them. from what I've read on forums that's how it appears to me thus far.
darren are 12 injectors possible out of the box or flex fuel? eta if not? i know those are two major ones being used more often as of recent.

There is more info coming next week and base packages to download so all details will be available for everyone to see. Hopefully most people can understand how it all works!
We have reviewed the syvecs ecu, but not in great detail. A real comparisons could only be made by people who know both systems inside out. If we missed any key features these will be added in future upgrades. The firmware is fully customised for the GTR so there is no compromise in functionality with generic features.
We will endeavour to listen to out customers and add features by popular demand.

We had to draw the line on the feature list some to get the ecu to market! So no, no 12 injector support in the initial release, but the ECU has 6 completely spare peak hold injector outputs ready to go. We are currently developing our fuel film model to model the amount of fuel which sticks to the inlet runners to deliver the exact right amount of fuel in transient conditions. This goes hand in hand with transitioning from low to high injection and so we need to finish this first.
Flex fuel is another feature that is not included initially but we will look into it. Using a volumetric efficiency model allows changing of fuel types very easy with just setting the stoichiometric ratio and fuel density, but transient fuelling also needs retuning. So to add flex fuel support properly is not a small task.
