So by my great math skills and Dave's effortless work numbers, looks like you are picking up 100hp/50ftlb from stock manifold to JCR manifold with tuning.  Pretty impressive.

No, I'd say 66 whp on a car like mine would be about max.

Thanks for adding the additional testing and the results are quite impressive.  I know you tested the AMS unit, but I can't remember if it was on your personal car.  If so, would be interesting to show the comparison between the two.  BTW, the politically correct phrase is, "if I tell you its Christmas you hang out your stocking!"

Dave's test is here http://www.gtrherita...-gas-gtr/page-2

He picked up 55whp over his ported on Nicks car which usually picks up about 25whp over stock. Keep in mind this is all on stock throttle bodies not ported as Dave had not done that yet.

Delta % very similar based upon before / after whp figures.. It's fun how two products can achieve their results in such different ways :)

This is going to go around until one of us is blue in the face....I think we are both close to being blue.

They are two different products and designed VERY differently as such they are going to do different things. For instance on a stock turbo car I expect our manifold would pick up very little whereas yours could very well have a nice gain...who knows...we haven't seen that test. On a bigger turbo though the tables are turned.

If Dave puts our manifold on his car he is going to make more power. I know it, he knows it and I think deep down you do too. It doesn't mean we are better it just means our intake was designed to do that particular task on that type of build better. It's nothing for people to be upset about or get defensive over. People just want answers on what will work best for them and the simple truth is that depends entirely on what type of build they have.

That's the point I was making, Eric.. Different products, different designs, different concepts entirely ..

The car started at 887

He started at 852 on ported manifold with stock throttle bodies, then 887 when he added his ported throttle bodies. Read it again gents. Jcr with ported throttle bodies.

The baseline for the JCR was 887 whp.  That was with our ported stock intake and our 65 mm throttle bodies.  The JCR was added ALONG with the larger throttle bodies.  No gains were made over the stock ported intake with the larger throttle bodies.  Adding timing after the intake swap WITH the larger throttle bodies already on it made the power gains.  Power and torque were up 41 whp/41 ft lbs with the additional timing.

A stock ported intake from us gains about 25 whp/ft lbs over a bone stock unported intake.

So we can ASSUME, that with tuning, the JCR is good for about 41+25=66 whp.

Does this JCR carbon manifold come with a PCV nipple or did you temporarily vent your PCV to the can?
