= KickAss.

So Bill sends me over Phase 5 today and I decided to do a before and after to see if the new Phase 5 is really all that's crank up to be, and what do you know it is! check these results:

Before

In this log you can see the wheel spin, check out the Vehicle Speed not smooth at all! conditions for this test:

Dry Road

After

Phase 5 + SiR TC

WET Road

Yea that's right, it hooked BETTER than it did before and it was wet outside (rain 20 min before) I'm pretty excited about this, should also help save that pesky FWD unit from burning up so quickly!

I made a little video, I'm sure Bill will explain more what's exactly happening but I'm told is cylinder's being cut at random, I call it voodoo magic  :D

Definitely exciting.  Interestingly, you were WOT just before the 3 second mark in both those logs and right around 60 kph in both. The car does still reach ~170 kph in the prior log but low 160s kph in the wet log, so while smoother, it's not faster in the wet, just more controlled.

Clearly, it is still a ridiculous achievement and hugely significant.

You are like Bill's personal John Stapp.  "Hey, it just got done raining and I need you to go test out a new traction control strategy" LOL

I feel that anything making you safer and able to do pulls in non ideal conditions, the better. Big ups to this thread! I would venture to say it's likely money very well spent if phase 4 algorithm's or however they're done, can't handle the strategy... That said, I would NOT want a n00b tuner messing with my traction control stuff, so pay the real pros for this work, or it could cost you the ultimate price.

Still working on a few things.

But currently have a good system and logic to use while launching, as well as rolling.

Really seems to help the car accelerate.

But keep in mind I am using Phase 5 Ecutek Rolling cylinder cut, but with my logic for cut based on G force and wheel speed differential.
