Kind of wanted to share the build on my personal S2000 that has been under the knife for a few months now. Most of you guys are not just GT-R nuts so I figured you might enjoy checking my little rice rocket out :) . Shortly after picking up this Silverstone 2007 I did the typical wheels/suspension, wrapped it 3M Satin White Pearl, and the standard NA power stuff. Fast forward to this past winter and the parts started rolling in for my first forced induction S2000 setup.  I knew that if I was ever going to do a turbo setup that I was proud to call my own, and have it be T1 caliber, that I couldn't cut any corners. I feel this round of modifications encompasses that belief and am very happy with where it's at. I definitely need to plan on doing a gearset and differential later on, but I think the work currently done is absolutely top notch.  Anyways, here is the parts list for this round:

Motec M130 ECU (tuned in house by Tony of course)
Motec C125 dash
Precision ball bearing 6266
Tial V60 wastegate (recirculated)
Tial QRJ blow off valve
JDL turbo manifold
All fabrication work (3.5" exhaust, 3.0" downpipe, wastegate routing, and intercooler piping) done by Mike at MAKK Performance
Injector Dynamics ID1000's
Precision 750hp intecooler
Advan RGD's with Dunlop Direzza Z2's

Previous modifications still on the car:
BC Stage 2 cams
Full Ferrea valvetrain (all cylinder head work performed by Watt's Shop)
Bilstein PSS's
Comp Stage 4 clutch

You too Bob! I won't forget about it!

Yea it was lighter than I thought it would be. Without me in it the car was actually about 30lbs lighter than stock.

I have a score to settle with an M5 that has a built stroker motor. Priority numero uno

Let's be honest, this car is the reason Tony hired you. He's not fooling me, I know he's still a Honda fanboi at heart :)

Seriously though, this is the best car Honda ever made. I'd rather have an s2k than an NSX any day.

Keep us posted on it, looks great so far!

hey stuart,

how is this car on the track or putting down that kinda power.  Does it get squirrelly or because of the lower torque and peak power, managable?

I would agree withe the S2000 vs NSX argument. I really am not a fan of the NSX to be completely honest.  Thanks for the kind words!

The power comes in really really smooth and there is no peakiness to it at all.  It actually surprised me with how well it hooks up on the street without traction control set up.  It barely spins in the top of 2nd, chirps 3rd, and then never looks back.  I am sure once some race gas mapping gets done for the 1/2 mile stuff I want to do it will get a bit more crazy, but the Motec traction control will take care of that.

I popped my motor after 4yrs and 8k miles which all of them were hard miles like a dude fucking his first piece of pussy after doing 5yrs in the joint. -Tim S.

Turned down to about 450whp right now, but its pretty dang fun. My favorite part is that it still drives exactly how an S2000 should, just with more power.  That will probably change once I do the diff and trans though  :wavecry:

Well apparently I am a noob when it comes to recording VBOX data so it didnt't get saved, but I threw Tony's box in my car and did some cruising tonight. I really didn't expect lower than like a 7.5 60-130 on my 450whp map, but i pulled off a 6.5. Pretty happy with that!

Well I went to the track in 100% street trim on my 255's last Friday in hopes of running an 11.5 or better at 130, but I only got one hit in and then it rained.  Pretty hard to dial a car in like that, but I at least eeked out an 11.95 at 125.  Pretty uneventful in care, but if you care to see it :)

All of the lights are fully programmable for color, brightness, how long they stay on, when they come on, etc. Pretty cool, but now I need to get off my ass and program them for each gear :)
