As I spoke of earlier in our billet block thread I wanted to shed some light on our upcoming GT-R Intake manifold. While our current manifold works and works well we knew it was somewhat of a compromise compared to what we are capable of. Rather than not have an option we choose to offer our customers our current intake manifold while we finished up our production unit. Here is a sneak peek at our soon to be released ALPHA Carbon Intake Manifold:

Alpha-Intake-Manifold-Assembly-5.jpg

As you can see our engineers have put quite a bit of thought into this new model. The most notable attribute is the carbon fiber intake plenums.

Alpha-Intake-Manifold-Assembly-4.jpg

While it does look quite attractive all features are based on function first. Make no mistake this manifold was designed from the ground up to be the best performing manifold on the market.

I will leave the specs and full details on the new manifold for the full product release about 5 months down the road. I will say though that our goal is to have this unit priced competitively with the intakes on the market now. Thanks for reading!

Ian, the rail you are seeing is the secondary rail. The normal rails still reside under the intake. That is a 12 injector setup.

+1 on 12 injectors and can I get i get it in checkerboard finish matte or glossy? Also, how much weight does the carbon fiber save me ;)

hahahaha well done Zac!

Like i just stated what you are looking at is the secondary rail / 12 injector setup. The stock rails would be under the manifold and those are untouched.

I don't think we are going to offer different finishes in the carbon or weave patterns.

Weight savings will be marginal compared to stock but I think you already knew that ;)

This is just amazing.  I can't wait until you guys really release it.

Can someone explain how velocity stacks work?  I know theoretically it rams air inside.  Is the piping shaped like a funnel or something?  Does it actually work?

Like others have said that thing is a beautiful work of art. Will it only be available in the 12 injector setup?

HP numbers are still up in the air but I do believe based on design it will make more power than our current model.

We are including screw in plugs for the injector holes if you do not wish to run 12 injectors.

So does the secondary fuel rail come with it? Or is it just an option? Additionally, are u offering larger TBs or do u just reuse your stock ones?
