I wonder why this grey gtr pulled so hard on the turbo s and the other one not ?

My ethanol content wasn't that great that day, plus 2014s are just naturally faster when they go FBO, he went 138 vs my 135

Why would that be?

Why would that be?

Because 2014s have better flowing heads, better turbos, etc subtle changes that add up and make a difference

Has that actually been proven? I've seen that speculated upon but any time an authority chimed in it was always determined to be the same long block and the same turbos. I have only seen strong of evidence of the intake manifold being different.

I could be completely wrong of course, but I'd love to see this answered for sure once and for all.

Seen it with my own eyes how the head is different and the block, Bill was the one that show me. Turbos too.. not to mention the ECM.

Lots of different things on 2014 is amazing how much they actually change on the car

That's very interesting and I'd love to hear some specifics on what differences you saw. It seems like quite a marketing fail that the Nissan press releases only cited changed injectors and an additional oil pan baffle. If they had updated the heads, block, and turbos those should have been trumpeted to attract customers I would think.

I've never dyno the car so no idea, went 10.3 @ 135 and is FBO.
