Since we got a watch thread on... figured we can have one of these as well :)

I'm not NRA crazy type myself.  Firearms are heavily regulated where I am (Canada) since their possession isn't a constitutional right....

What do you guys have?

Nice.  how do you like the .270s?

This is one of my nicer ones, the Canadian Forces C14 MRSWS (Medium Range Sniper Weapon System) aka Timberwolf.  Chambered in .338 Lapua .

Optics are fitted with a BORS ballistic computer.

Ohh, I got the next best think to the 700 IMO.  An 'unlisted model' Savage 10TR .308 .  Sales is restricted to LEO and service members.  It's a great $ deal if you can get your hands on one.

This is not my picture, but that's what it is:

Love my Bee! It's a very easy to handle round that is quick and hits hard, all the animals I've harvested have been one shot kills with it. Sick setup there Nick!

Tim, you need your own gallery!!!

I buy military surplus ammo by the crate as well :)  Have a couple wooden crates of 7.62x39 from "Soviet" block... built in 1967!  It's cheap!

I have enough firearms to support a small army.

I've just gotten back into guns recently.  My youngest daughter wants to learn to shoot.  So I just started dusting off my old guns (from Uzi's, to AR's, to AK's, Benelli M1l, Para P14, Kimbers, H&K (USP multiple calibers), Sigs, Glocks, etc...), and now looking at getting new ones (but a lot more .22LR's as I'm getting cheap).

Working on outfitting several of them with silencers (which are now permitted for hunting in my state).  Whenever I can preserve my hearing, and not draw attention to my actions, I'm all for it.  Looking at getting 2 silencers for each caliber (then I have to get new barrels, to make sure the threading is appropriate).

I'm looking at getting the XD (possibly XD-M, and maybe an XD-S or two), a few SR22 pistols (the wife and daughter want the lilac one).

xD's are nice guns.

Have you priced Subsonic ammo, not bad but deff not cheap.Plus it doesn't shoot well at long distances and has way lees knock down power.

22's are great to learn how to shoot on and there easy on the wallet.First rifle i ever shot was a lever action single shot 22.My dad still has it.

A firearm thread is a cool idea, surely there are some cool pieces owned by members (but you gotta post pics TIM!! lol).

As another thought maybe for the FL members we should create a "ground-standing kills" thread too ;)

I have priced sub 9mm ammo.  It is a little more than I paid years ago, but I wouldn't shoot it enough that it would matter to me (kind of like the rising cost of fuel, I only drive 5-6 miles to work).

But yeah, I'm going to focus a lot more on .22LR weapons, as they are more fun, and easier to suppress (more quiet).  I'm also getting another Buckmark, and several .22LR rifles (GSG-5, maybe 522 etc...)
