Hi guys,
The past several years I have been preselling GT-R's. Typically the cars can be ordered in the Fall and begin arriving at my store late January to early February. I have found that many on the forum begin searching for cars late winter to early spring and find that they are hard to locate. Because of this I wanted to extend an invitation to all of those interested in a 2015 to contact me via PM. I will then place you on a list based on the order in which I receive your request.
Once specific ordering information is released from Nissan I will begin contacting individuals on the list to place a firm order. The sooner the orders are placed the quicker the cars will arrive. I am usually one of the first dealerships in the country to begin receiving the new model year. iirc I delivered 4 MY14's in the January-February time frame.
There is no obligation or deposit required. This simply puts you in line to have the "first right of refusal" to order a 2015. If you decide to move forward with an order once we have all the details a $2,500 deposit is required. Once I have the check I send a copy of the check to Nissan with your order form. At that point the order is "firm".
Thanks again for everyones support and business over the years.

I wish I had the coin to upgrade. But I do love my 09, and it serves me very well. I will keep on dreaming and if the day comes, Jason you will be the first person I call for sure.

Any word on when official specs will be released?
We should have further details from Nissan this Fall. I am guessing mid November.

Jason, any specs on the 2015 yet? Rumours of a "GR7" gearbox are strong...

I'm in for details.
Internal changes, the main one being a 7th cog.

I'm intrigued...
Want to learn more.
I'm going to try and fight getting this new version. But if it comes with a lot of the rumored improvements, it will be hard to skip over it and wait for the R36. I will try my best, though. Hopefully the price doesn't go the way of the 300ZXTT. If Nissan didn't learn from that, our platform is in trouble.

The 2015 MY is the last R35, right? The 2016 is supposed to be the R36 hybrid......

No way...
I can't see them making these many changes just for one model year. Each earlier version has been 3 (CBA, then DBA). Based on this pattern, this new chassis should be around for the next 3 years...
Unless - this was all a test for the R36, with an R35 test mule body panel setup with exactly the same underpinnings. (doubtful)
The R36 was originally planned for ~2016, but that was back around 2007-8, then the GT-R started evolving and selling nicely. Plans may have changed.

According to official Nissan representatives & Motor Trend, the R36 hybrid will be released in 2015. That means the R35 will be produced until 2014-2015. 2007-2015 is 8 years....

given the update will carry the DBA model designation, i think the rumours of a 7 speed are pretty much dead in the water
likely there will be no exterior changes other than the led headlights and new design led tail lights seen on the nismo ring mule

According to Nissan, the R35 was only supposed to be a 5-year production.
I still disagree. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
